New-Build Outdoor Spaces
A new home usually comes with a rough-graded dirt lot and a fence. Building it out right the first time is cheaper and faster than fixing a rushed yard later — the grades, drainage, sleeves, and utility runs all go in before the hardscape locks them under concrete.
We take new lots in El Dorado Hills, Folsom, and the surrounding communities from bare dirt to finished outdoor living: patios, shade, kitchen, lawn, lighting — planned as one build.
Scope
What’s included
- A layout plan that fits the lot's grades and setbacks
- Finish grading and a drainage plan that protects the foundation
- Sleeving and utility runs before hardscape goes down
- Patios, walkways, and walls
- Irrigation, turf, and planting
- Landscape lighting and gas or electrical coordination for future features
Process
How it works
Lot walk and layout
We review your lot's grades, drainage easements, and HOA or builder requirements, then lay out the space with you.
Written scope and proposal
A phased, line-by-line scope — some clients build everything at once, others phase hardscape now and features later. We plan the sleeves and stubs either way.
Dirt and infrastructure
Grading, drainage, trenching, and sleeving first, so nothing has to be cut open later.
Hardscape and systems
Flatwork, walls, irrigation, and wiring, in the right order.
Finish and walkthrough
Turf, planting, lighting aim, controller programming, and a walkthrough of the finished yard.
Service area
We serve greater El Dorado County and Sacramento County — Placerville, Cameron Park, Shingle Springs, El Dorado Hills, Folsom, Rancho Cordova, Sacramento, and the communities between.
